School of Business in ECUST integrates the disciplines of Economics and Business Administration, and Management Science and Engineering in its development. The School consists of five departments, seven research institutes, two research centers and a professional masters’ education center. Currently, it offers bachelor’s degree in eleven specialties, master’ s degree in three level 1 disciplines, doctoral degree in two level 1 disciplines, and professional master’s degree in six programs including programs of MBA, EMBA, Project Management, Logistics Management and Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc). We have had over 3,000 undergraduates and academic postgraduates, and over 2,000 professional postgraduates studying in the School. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program jointly taught by both East China University of Science and Technology and University of Canberra has been approved by the China Ministry of Education. The program aims to cultivate local business elites with global perspective. University of Canberra is a renowned university situated in the capital of Australia and is directly under the supervision of Commonwealth of Australia. It ranks world’s top 5% according to the QS World University Rankings in 2014 and 2015. Graduates will be awarded MBA degrees from University of Canberra. The award has the same qualification as the one awarded in Canberra and is recognized by China, Australia, US, Europe and international organizations. It now enjoys a great success in Shanghai and has over 1000 alumni and students which come from Shanghai and surrounding areas.
