Swisse Creates Digital Buzz in China

Australia's vitamins company Swisse Wellness continues to strengthen its presence in the Chinese healthcare market where demand for its products soared in the past year.

Brand ambassador Nicole Kidman was in Shanghai last Friday for Swisse's official launch, which marked an important milestone for the brand. Since its acquisition by Hong Kong-listed Biostime International last September, 40% of the company's sales have come from China. As Chief Executive Radek Sali told The Australian, the brand already has its own flagship online store on Tmall and a growing presence on other e-commerce platforms (JD, Kaola, VIP), which will soon be complemented with sales through brick-and-mortar stores.
