China Rises as Top Choice for Australian Students
Around 5,000 Australian students are currently studying in China, 83% more than in 2011 according to recent figures published by China's Ministry of Education.
China's shift from a manufacturing-based to a more service-oriented economy, combined with the country's efforts in the education sector over the past decade are both believed to have contributed to China's attractiveness among international students.
