Australian Government’s Landing Pad Opens in Shanghai

#

Austrade has officially opened the Australian Government's Landing Pad at co-working space XNode in Shanghai. The Shanghai Landing Pad is the third of five Landing Pads announced by the Australian Government as part of its National Innovation and Science Agenda, designed to help Australian entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market and build high-growth and high-return enterprises.

Participants in China will be able to access XNode's Xelerator program, which consists of investor pitch trainings, demo days and mentorship. Austrade’s Senior Trade Commissioner in China Michael Clifton also said the Landing Pad will foster new opportunities for Australian startups in China, giving them access to a diverse ecosystem of high-tech parks, entrepreneurs, investors, regulators and potential customers in Shanghai.

Applications are already open for the Shanghai Landing Pad. Australian companies seeking more information or wishing to apply can visit australiaunlimited.com/LandingPads, contact Austrade on 13 28 78 or email landingpads@austrade.gov.au.
