The Camel bar was born from a conversation amongst friends about there not being a place in Shanghai to watch our favorite sports, in a setting which made us feel at home. From that day we worked together and on the 26th February 2010 - The Camel was born. It is a place where you can sit with a beer at the front and watch the world go by, or snuggle up on the sofas by the fireplace with a warm Irish Coffee, or watch your favorite team go to war in another of sports’ life versus death battles.

The Camel bar today is not a perfect place and it means different things to different people, but it is a place we believe is a great place to have a drink with your mates from all over the world, and to watch all the live sports from all around the world. From the buzz of a Test match at Lords, to the crack of the bat during the World Series or the rush as an F1 juggernaut flashes by, it is the competition that we love. From the traditions at Augusta, to the uplifting songs of the Millennium Stadium, from the roar of the crowd at Wembley to the frenzy that is the MCG on Grand Final Day. This is what the Camel Sports Bar tries to capture, the special moment that even though you are not there, you feel like you are.
