St. James’s Place Continues Impressive Growth in Asia
Last week, St. James’s Place released its 2017 annual report on the FTSE. This year's main highlights included:
- Record gross inflows for 2017 of £14.6 billion – circa AUD $26 billion (up 20% on 2016)
- Funds under management of £90.7 billion – circa AUD $161 billion (up 20% on 2016)
- We are now represented by 3,661 qualified advisers across our Partnership businesses in the UK and Asia (up 7% on 2016)
The Asia business:
Whilst the Asia results are not separately listed, our Asia operations continue to experience impressive growth. Gross inflows were £220.9m (circa AUD $393m) for the year, while total funds under management were up 28% to £916m from £659m in 2016. We now have over 120 advisers across Hong Kong, Singapore and China, growth of 18% for the year.
