Collaborating with the English fragrance brand, Miller Harris, Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai launches the Dance in Calypso Crossover Afternoon Tea, starting from 16 June 2020. Dine in the glasshouse-style restaurant, Calypso Restaurant & Lounge, in the heart of the city and get ready for a multi-sensory trip on a refreshing and stylish summer afternoon.
Inspired by DANCE, the latest fragrance by Miller Harris, our hotel pastry team has created a selection of exquisite creations, using yellow as the themed colour and ingredients that are also found in perfumed notes, such as Fennel, Mint, Lime, Bergamot, Berries, etc. More than ten kinds of savoury and sweet pastries are beautifully displayed on a stylish three-tier serving stand, including Courgette Egg Roulade with Fennel Sprouts; Burrata with Lemon and Pumpkin Seeds; Bergamot and Stracciatella Cheesecake; Blackberry Mousse, and more. The Miller Harris’s iconic perfume bottle is also turned to miniature chocolate. Take a bite out of the desserts and discover a feast of rich colours, flavours and aromas that engage the senses.
Dance in Calypso Crossover Afternoon Tea is available for a limited time from 16 June to 31 August 2020 daily, in Calypso Restaurant.
