Shaping 2019 for Expat Businesses in China after Beijing's
The National People’s Congress (NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held their annual sessions from 3rd – 5th March 2019, in Beijing. A series of important new policies and amendments were approved at the so-called ‘Two Sessions’ (the ‘Liang Hui’). These included the widely discussed Foreign Investment Law, VAT changes and other economic policy which affects foreign businesses operating in China.
