Established in 2008, SRG Trading (Shanghai) Limited is wholly invested by Super Retail Group, and developed from Super Cheap Auto Group Limited Hangzhou Representative Office set up in 2006. As an integral part of Super Retail Group a top 6 retailer in Australia, SRG Trading (Shanghai) Limited is the International Operations arm. Group International Operations is responsible for a range of activities occurring offshore and managed from two locations in Mainland China. The registered head office is located in Shanghai and a larger branch office is located in Hangzhou about 2.5 hours inland. A primary Team objective is to deliver a sustainable competitive advantage by sourcing the right product, at the right time, at the right price and managing the process from concept, through production and despatch, generally by sea. The Team is committed to looking for products from overseas for the whole group (including SCA, BCF, Goldcross Cycles, Ray’s Outdoors, FCO, Rebel and Amart). The Shanghai office focuses on Supply Chain, Apparel and Footwear Sourcing, and associated support activities. The Hangzhou office focuses on Hard Goods Sourcing such as Fishing, Boating, Camping, Auto, Tools, Luggage, Sports Equipment and associated support activities. Various functions are performed such as finding product, developing product, auditing factories, overseeing quality assurance, regulatory compliance, developing consumer and logistic packaging, coordinating exports and conducting pre-shipment inspections. Other value adding logistics initiatives include store ready international packing of orders and developing floor ready store ready displays across Asia with hubs located in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. August 2013 is the formal extended launch of our domestic China business trading under the name Auzzie Outdoors to bring the best of the best across the Super Retail Group to Chinese consumers with a focus on active outdoor living, travel, fitness and sports activities and build on the healthy down under lifestyle of fresh air, blue skies, sun, surf and sand.
