Hatch is an international employee-owned company incorporated in 1955. We provide comprehensive consulting, engineering, environmental project & construction management services to the mining, metallurgical manufacturing infrastructure industries via a network of over 50 permanent offices worldwide. Hatch operates in China as Hatch Project Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, with a national business license to consult in project / construction management, engineering and technical services. Our full time in-country staffing averages 60 people and includes a blend of expatriate and local professionals providing coverage of all major engineering disciplines and specialists in project delivery. We have more than 15 years experience in the People’s Republic of China. Our first major project was completed in 1989 with the construction of the USD50 million ShunChang Cement Plant. A permanent office and full time presence was established in 1995.
