Leffler Simes Architects are an Australian commercial based architecture and interior design firm with offices located in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We are in the process of establishing our Shanghai office and are looking for staff to fill various positions within the office.

The ideal candidates will have proven abilities/experience in the following:

• Architect/architectural draftsperson that is able to run and document projects
• Revit preferred
• Understands how to address site issues (RFI on Aconex)
• 3 years local experience in Retail and Commercial projects, preferably with a technical background to resolve site and detail issues
• Design development experience
• Can work efficiently both in a team and independently
• Client liaison
• Proficient with coordinating consultants drawings, and dedication to follow things through from start to finish to ensure items are addressed
• Ability to work with competing deadlines, a proven capacity to manage workflow and prioritise tasks effectively
• Thorough detailing and construction understanding (including hand sketches)
• Great organisational and communication skills
• Easy going nature and can work in team environment
• Good understanding of current Chinese building codes
• Drive to take on a project as their own, and lead a team
