Adsmith China

The Brand Associate at Adsmith China will support the Engagement Team to support branding cases with research and findings to support marketing actions. The right candidate will be able to independently research and translate findings to support current clients as well as proposals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conducting China market research: monitoring market trends, identifying competitors, and analyzing the behaviors of the target audience
  • Provide insights into the opportunities and threats within the market and industries of our clients
  • Conduct research into the trends and challenges of the Chinese digital landscape, specifically with regards to WeChat and Weibo
  • Together with the project management teams, coordinate brand audits for our clients in order for us to develop the correct and relevant brand strategies, namely:
    1. Conduct research on secondary / existing information
    2. Conduct interviews with respondents
  • Provide support in conducting client workshops to help in developing a brand strategy
  • Support in consolidating and putting together research reports that will provide insights, observations, and agency recommendations to clients regarding how they can address challenges in the market

You should:

  • Have a 4-year degree from a reputable university, preferably but not limited to social sciences
  • Be able to analyze Chinese websites and marketing collaterals
  • Have good analytical skills and have an interest in analyzing data, trends and information
  • Be a good listener, able to respond to results and research
  • Be a good communicator with excellent written Chinese
  • Excellent English ability with ability to organize reports and daily work in a mixed language environment
  • Be able to work well with a wide range of people
  • Be able to manage different projects at the same time
  • Be organized and methodical
  • Be able to work well under pressure
