AustCham Shanghai Wellness Morning

Mental health can sometimes feel like a solitary endeavour but AustCham Shanghai believes that good mental health is a community exercise. Join us on Thursday the 9th of September, the R U OK?Day for a wellness morning, starting with a movement workout at Arete Group’s function room with Heidi. Your participation will help to raise money for our charity partners.

In the post-movement session, we are pleased to have Cinny Ling, a family medicine physician from Shanghai United Family Healthcare to present to us on the health benefits of exercise and maintaining a healthy eating habits during the breakfast session.

Feel good about getting active and knowing your ticket price goes towards supporting charity partners!

Limited spots only. RSVP as early as to secure your place.

Thank you to the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai for supporting this event.

R U OK? is a harm prevention charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives.

Their R U OK?Day is a national day (this year on Thursday 9 September) of action when people are reminded every day is the day to ask "are you OK?" if someone in your world is struggling with life's ups and downs. R U OK? has developed resources to help you encourage more life-changing conversations in your school, workplace and community.

As the main organisor of R U OK?Day in China, Lifeline Shanghai is a volunteer non-profit organisation that has been providing free English-speaking helpline service for the community across China in times of emotional distress or crisis since 2004. Lifeline Shanghai has become a CSR partner of AustCham Shanghai since 2020.
