Tracy Edwards – Monday 14 March 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm

Tracy Edwards MBE shot to fame when she skippered the first all-female crew to sail around the world.

She and her crew raced Maiden in the 1989/90 Whitbread Round the World Race. Trouncing her critics, Maiden won two legs and came second overall, a result that remains unbeaten.

Habitat for Humanity - Wednesday, 16 March 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

However huge disparities remain, particularly in developing nations. We will be joined by Jo Hayes and Katherine Rumble from Habitat for Humanity, as we discuss some of the key preconceptions that still hold women back today. And showcase some of the ways charities, organisations and individuals are working to break the bias.
