Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Talk

Why do many global companies fail while others succeed, despite equally powerful brands and other border-crossing advantages? The pandemic and geopolitical development in recent years remind that distance still matters in business. This session is going to talk about how differences may impact firm’s international strategies by introducing useful framework and models.

Shaohui Pan (Jeffrey) is currently Vice President and Head of Strategy & Investment at AIG. With 25 years of work experience with global (re)insurers, Mr. Pan assumed various leadership positions across product development, distribution, general management and in multiple geographies. He was the Chairman of AmCham’s Nanjing Chapter and a voluntary coach for postgraduates at SUFE. Mr. Pan earned MBA agree with honor at Washington University-Fudan University, and a Master degree in International Business at Maastricht School of Management.
