The Official Opening of ANU Shanghai Study Hub

Australian National University's first offshore student Study Hub was officially open on August 27th at Australia House by AustCham Shanghai. The Study Hub is to support the University’s China-based students as they commence or continue remote learning throughout Semester 2, 2020. It is located on the 6th floor of Australia House and hosted in partnership with the Australian Chamber of Commerce Shanghai

The Study Hub consists of a dedicated, staffed student ‘drop-in’ study space to facilitate collaborative study and provide quiet learning spaces for students. In addition, the Study Hub will host a regular program of events, workshops and activities, which will be free of charge and open to all current ANU students.

Finding the ANU Shanghai Study Hub

The ANU Study Hub is located at Australia House by AustCham Shanghai. The study space is in room 603 and students will also have complimentary access to facilities on level seven including: a lounge space, bookable private meeting rooms and bookable events spaces. Australia House is located at 上海市长宁区平武路80号澳洲之家6楼603室, English to Room 603, 6F, 80 Pingwu Road, Changning District, Shanghai, 200052. The closest metro stop is Jiaotong University (交通大学), less than 10 minutes walk away.

Booking your Hub visit

Students can book their Hub visit online

This complimentary service will operate from 14 August to 20 November 2020, from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. Spaces are limited and must be booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Students can reserve a date and time in the Study Hub up to 6pm the night before arrival, subject to availability.

The Study Hub will be accessible to students during the following times:

14 August to TBC
OPEN: 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday.

[The hub will not be open Saturday or Sunday]

Opening Hours for the 1-7 October Chinese National Day/Mid-Autumn Day will be confirmed soon.Times are subject to change and the operation of the Hub is subject to any rules and regulations of local, city and provincial/national authorities relating to pandemic control.

Note: The Study Hub will not open on Chinese public holiday 'special working days' where those days fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
