AustCham Shanghai holds over 150 events annually, ranging from business forums and intimate roundtables with industry leaders to social networking mixers that cover key sectors of our entire membership.
We offer a variety of event sponsorship opportunities to showcase your company's services and strengthen your corporate brand in the Australia-China business community. Sponsorship packages are available at various price points and can be fully tailored to suit your organisation's needs and requirements.

AUSTRALIA DAY 2019
We'll kick off 2019 with our annual Australia Day Roast, a fun, entertainment-packed family day gathering over 300 members of the Australian and local communities in Shanghai. Expect kids' activities, a great pavlova bake-off, live music, free-flow beer and wine and the best Aussie roast in town
GREAT SUMMER BBQ 2019
The AustCham Shanghai Summer BBQ is a community-orientated family day with kid’s entertainment, sports activities, food and drink vendors and a live band. It provides an outstanding opportunity for sponsors to increase their brand exposure within the business community and has been known to attract over 400 guests on the day, as well as Chinese and Australian media.
GREAT AUSTRALIAN BALL 2019
The Great Australian Ball is one of the most anticipated events of the Shanghai expat social calendar. Each year the event attracts over 250 Australian and non-Australian participants, many of whom are business managers and key decision makers in Shanghai and Greater China.
This event creates an excellent environment for sponsors to increase their brand exposure within the local business community. It also provides an opportunity to participate in a Corporate Social Responsibility program that AustCham Shanghai has established to aid a raft of worthy causes. Over the past 25 years, thanks to the support of our past sponsors, the Great Australian Ball has raised over 3 million RMB for community projects and people in need.
SHANGHAI MELBOURNE CUP 2019
The Shanghai Melbourne Cup is one of the most anticipated daytime events in the Shanghai social calendar. Now in its 23rd year, the event offers a unique Australian entertainment experience whilst raising significant funds for charity.
The event attracts over 150 guests and features a three-course lunch with free-flow drinks, entertainment, CSR raffle, silent auction, fashions on the field, after party and of course the famous horse-race televised live from Melbourne, Australia.
AUSSIE DRINKS
Aussie Drinks is the Chamber's monthly networking event providing the opportunity for community members to socialise and network with like-minded people in a relaxed environment. Our monthly Aussie Drinks have been running in Shanghai for well over 10 years, are held at different member venues around Shanghai each month and attract between 100-400 attendees.
