At Ecquality Timber, we make real wood products from legally and sustainably harvested wood. We make them well and with pride, looking after our customers first while working to build an enduring company that takes care of its people and contributes to its local community.

We are an owner-operated business about two hours to the west of Shanghai in China. The owners are Terry Newman and Sonoe Mishima, citizens of Australia and Japan respectively, who have been operating in China since 2007. The company has about 40 local employees.

As a foreign-owned business in China we bring Western professionalism and lower operating costs together to offer consistent high quality at a low price. Our main customers are retailers and wholesalers in Japan and Australia, and we also ship directly to individuals and builders for our specialty parquetry.
