Stephen White
(Chair)
|
An Architect from Sydney. Has been
living in Shanghai since 1994 and established
iaction in 1996. iaction's team of 30 staff provide design
build services to a wide range of multinational clients, including
well-known Australian entities such as Allens Arthur Robinson, ANZ
Bank, BHP, Bluescope Steel, Austrade Shanghai, Austrade Regional
Headquarters, Blake Dawson Waldron.

Seamus Cornelius
(Vice Chair)
|
Seamus was the Chief Representative for
Allens in China since 1994. With help from colleagues he
established Allens China business. He is one of the most
experienced foreign lawyers in China. Seamus is an AustCham
Shanghai Foundation member previously serving on the Board,
contributing to the revised Constitution 2007 and to AustCham
Shanghai regulatory negotiations. Seamus is enthusiastic to develop
AustCham Shanghai serving Australia China business community
interests.

Peter Arkell
|
Having lived in Shanghai for more than
4 years, Peter feels it is important that he not only enjoys the
benefits offered by the international community here, especially
AustCham Shanghai, but also makes a contribution to this community.
As a Partner of
The Swann Group, Peter brings a perspective to the Board not
just as a business person, but also a HR view of life here.

Colette Chester
|
CEO of
Which Property? Attaining her licence specialising in the
property/real-estate markets, Colette joined Which Property? After
4 successful years based in the Brisbane office, she relocated to
Shanghai. Colette has 25 years experience in hospitality, sales,
marketing, and a firm background in customer service and
appreciation of importance of long term relationships.

David Keir
|
Australian business has a great
role to play in China. David's company is launching two great
Australian businesses into the Shanghai and China market;
Gloria Jean's Coffees and
Boost Juice Bars. They also operate more than 30
Subway restaurants here. David has been an active member of
AustCham Shanghai for the past two years, including serving as an
advisor to the Board in the first half of 2008. David brings to the
AustCham Shanghai Board, 16 years experience as a management
consultant and in property development in China.

Tim Lyons
|
Executive Director of
Manage China, Tim has been in China for 4 years and prior to
that was in the Asia Pacific Region for over 10 years. His
background is a mix of academic and commercial - with management
experience in Asia Pacific whilst also conducting MBA courses for
universities and business schools both in Asia Pacific and
Europe.

Bob Moore
|
President of
BludScope Steel Greater China. Bob has been in Shanghai for
almost 2 years. Prior to this, he has been involved in the Steel
Industry in Australia in a number of senior executive roles and a
number of Key Industry Associations. As the leader of a Foundation
member of AustCham Shanghai, he is very keen to assist with the
development of Australian business in China.

Doug Pearce
|
Doug joined the Board in 2007 as an
interim appointment and is active on media, sponsorship and the
"staying relevant" working groups. With 5 years in Shanghai, he is
the Managing Director of
Wise China Development Ltd. and has extensive management
experience at CEO level of communication companies. Through
AustCham Shanghai he hopes to benefit Australian business and the
community in Shanghai.

Clea Wiebenga
|
Clea has been Head of Personal and
Business Banking with
ANZ in Shanghai for over 2 years and previously was a lawyer
with Minter Ellison in Sydney. Clea has a degree in arts/law from
Monash and also studied at East China Normal University. Clea
served on the AustCham Shanghai Board 2007-8 and is actively
involved with events and the community outreach program.

Vivienne Yu
|
Head of China Banking Investment,
CommBank Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co Ltd. Has more than
15 years of banking and finance experience in Australia and China
with great understanding of business practices, corporate
governance, government relations and cultures. Also has extensive
network in government and business circles in both countries.
Joined AustCham Executive Committee as an interim appointment in
2006.

Interested in joining the Board of
Directors?
The members of the Board of Directors are nominated prior to the
Annual General Meeting (AGM) and voted in at the AGM by AustCham
Shanghai Corporate members.
Throughout the year, vacancies may arise on the Board of
Directors. These vacancies are then advertised to all members who
can nominate for interim appointment to the Board.
