Join serial entrepreneurial experts Leigh Angus and Jill Tang in a discussion about how they turned ideas into commercial reality here in China and globally.

They’ll provide insight into the challenges they’ve faced, the resources and connections they utilised, and how they define entrepreneurial success in the Chinese economy. This event is supported by the AustCham Shanghai Women in Business committee.

Leigh Angus is the Director of Prompt Management, and a leading expert in innovation, investment and strategic partnering. She is also the cofounder of Junior Engineers, a full-fledged, commercial business providing software-coding courses to children across Australia. Leigh is skilled in the art of research, design, partnering, development and application of complex technologies and new business models. Leigh has worked in large corporate and research environments, as well as hi-tech startups in Israel, China and Australia, introducing and implementing emerging technologies, digital products and innovative practices to local and overseas markets.

Jill Tang is the Founder of CareerXFactor.com, a boutique career social platform for Chinese Overseas Returnees and expats who are living in China. She is also a co-founder at TheBrewGirl.com which connects Chinese brewers to the rest of the world. Jill is a serial entrepreneur, Aussie alumni, and an outstanding, vocal supporter of local and foreign startups. In June 2016, Jill was selected as one of 12 entrepreneurs from China to attend Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that if you need to cancel this booking we must receive your RSVP cancellation by email or fax no less than 48 hours in advance of an event, unless another specific cancellation date/time is notified in the event details. The Chamber will have to charge you full-price for the event if you do not cancel your attendance by the stated time. This is necessary to cover costs automatically incurred by AustCham Shanghai for events on registered attendees’ behalf.

Please note that if eligible for a refund, you will receive the full amount minus a 1% transaction fee.
