Chambers offers an annual calendar of high-profile events that
attracts significant community interest. Several of these events
are available for sponsorship, presenting an attractive vehicle for

Greater China, AustCham Shanghai events are a vital hub for
information exchange and communication. Additionally events are key

Over 120 events per year and over 9,000 guests are welcomed at
AustCham Shanghai events annually.

Sponsorship Policy
AustCham Shanghai corporate members are offered first refusal
for any sponsorship opportunity, providing them with an excellent
prospect to increase their community profile. Sponsorship also
provides a highly visible method for corporate members to support
the community in which they operate as proceeds from most AustCham
Shanghai events benefit various PRC Community Outreach
Programs.
Sponsorship for Chamber functions may also be sought from
members and non-members on an ad hoc basis as decided by the
Executive Committee. However, in line with general AustCham
Shanghai policy, sponsorship from members will always be accepted
in preference to, but not in exclusion of, sponsorship from
non-members. It is AustCham policy to always consider membership
interests as a priority.
