Advance will host its annual thought leadership Summit - Themed
'50 For the Future' on 7-8 March
2011 at the Sydney Opera House.
The Summit will highlight the achievements of some remarkable
women, and introduce 50 current and emerging leaders in the Asia
Pacific.
Each year Advance hosts a Summit in a different global city as
part of our commitment to showcase and harness the talent and
expertise of Australia's diaspora, and provide feedback - to
influence government and business decision-making.
The Advance Thought Leadership Summits are recognized as a place
where established and emerging leaders from Australia's diverse
diaspora meet to explore and disseminate ideas, connections and
best practices.
The Summit Goals include:
- To bring together 200 interested and interesting 'Friends of
Australia' from across the Asia Pacific region
- To celebrate the example and achievements of 50 established and
emerging female leaders of our diaspora
- To showcase the innovative leadership roles of women in the
region
- To highlight and address current regional issues across
multiple sectors
- To emphasise the opportunities for growing the talent pool in
the region
- To integrate current and emerging women leaders in our Diaspora
with the broader Australian community
Advance will select 50 female Australian, alumni established and
emerging leaders living or working off-shore, in the Asia Pacific
region. And, AustCham is invited to nominate 3-5 people who you
think should be considered for '50 For the Future'.
Attached is the Advance 'Call for Nomination' form for your
reference. Nominations close on Sunday, 05 December,
2010.
The Advance Thought Leadership Summits represent a unique
opportunity to network with peers, and gather clear and intelligent
insight into critical trends and solutions that will influence
Australia's growth and its place in the world.
