VISTAGE CHINA
Vistage China launched operations in 2009 in Shanghai, and began
delivering membership services in March 2010. Vistage China peer
groups meet monthly or bi-monthly to learn, share ideas and discuss
issues that members are currently facing. Vistage China peer

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all operative functions, including recruitment of
CEO Coaches and speakers, office operations and procedures,
Finance, HR, Administration and IT to ensure organizational
effectiveness and efficiency.
Specific responsibilities in this role
include:
1. Review the monthly financial report.
2. Oversee the main IT functions, database backup, and website
maintenance.
3. Responsible for the recruitment and support of CEO Coaches and
speakers.
a. Key contact/liaison for Chairs (CEO Coaches). Act as the primary
point of contact/liaison to HQ.
b. Work closely to address and help resolve varied Chair and Member
issues.
c. Attend varied meetings (approximately one per month) to build
relationships, communicate corporate initiatives, and elicit
input.
d. Transitions: guide, coordinate, and assist in resolution of
Chair/Group transitions.
e. Field events: attend as necessary and strategic to support
corporate goals.
f. Chair & Member liaison: collaboratively address issues and
concerns. Problem solve with appropriate personnel and
BPC/Chairs.
4. Oversee office operations. Including:
a. Design and implement office policies and procedures.
5. Act as Office Manager. Including:
a. Plan and implement office systems, layout and equipment
procurements.
b. Maintain and replenish inventory.
c. Verify vendors for office equipment.
6. Keep abreast of competition and providing useful input to the
management under a changing business environment.
7. Ensure the appropriate operational standards are met amidst a
changing environment.
8. Build up the bench strength in the back room operations in
line with business growth.
9. Plan and implement strategy for operational management and
development to meet agreed organizational performance plans within
agreed budgets and timescales.
10. Optimize inventory systems to maximize working capital
turnover;
11. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring
necessary aspects of operational management and development.
12. Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational
strategy and performance in cooperation with the executive
team.
EXPERIENCE
1. 7-10 years operation management experience in training or
consulting firms.
2. Experience working with China operations required. English and
Mandarin proficiency preferred.
3. Able to engage top-level candidates (CEO, Key Executive, Owner)
in conversations over the phone and in person.
4. Experience in selling intangibles or services; preferably
high-end memberships and/or subscriptions.
5. Strong communication skills with high energy and
enthusiasm.
6. Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
7. Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter.
8. Knowledgeable in accounting, finance reporting and finance
control.
9. Experience in setting up internal policies, processes and
systems.
10. Ability to deal with diverse cultures and at the senior level
of management (both internal and with business partners).
11. Capable of managing conflicts and changes, resolving problems
in a changing environment.
12. Strong relationship builder with ability to influence and
establish relationships with a diverse group.
13. Strategic thinker with ability to conceptualize and formulate
plans and actions as a key management team member.
14. Ability to lead others with vision and integrate different
functional groups to achieve results.
15. Capable of initiating, facilitating and working with others in
change efforts.
16. Familiar with a dual reporting structure as well as Head Office
reporting.

EDUCATION
BS or advanced degree in marketing/finance/IT
