Austrade has released a program of events to be held during Shanghai Expo 2010. The program details a series of specialized events as part of the larger Australian Pavilion program. The Austrade events will showcase Australia’s trade and investment strengths. Many of the events are part of industry specific trade missions of Australian business people to China. Businesses in China may be able to apply to become part of the missions. (Click header for links to Austrade website).
 

AustCham Shanghai offered members an exclusive opportunity to visit the Shanghai World Expo 2010 site on Tuesday 9th March. AustCham Shanghai was able to host members as part of its Associate Partnership with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Australian Pavilion.

The tour gave members a unique insight into how they can benefit from and contribute to the Expo that will attract over 70 million people between the months of May and October 2010.  

 

AustCham Shanghai office will be closed from Monday 15 February for Chinese New Year holiday and will return on Monday 22 February 2010.
