Members can enjoy AustCham Shanghai's fast track visa
business visas to Australia and New Zealand service
Do you or others at your company ever organise business trips to
Australia or New Zealand? Did you know that your company may be
eligible to apply for AustCham Shanghai's fast-track business visas
to Australia and New Zealand service?
Once your company has been an AustCham Shanghai corporate
member for over six months (the stipulated period required by the
Visa Office) you can apply for approval to access this exclusive,
AustCham Shanghai member-only service.
Pre-approved AustCham Shanghai corporate members can have their
business visa to Australia processed in three working days
rather than the usual 10 working days.
Similarly, pre-approved AustCham Shanghai corporate members can
have their business visa to New Zealand applications processed in
three working days rather than the usual five working
days. This is because visa applications submitted by
pre-approved applicants are removed from the rank and file for
express processing.
Types of Visas Offered Under This Service
AUSTRALIA
Single entry, short-stay visas (up to three
months) are offered under this service for purposes such
as: official visits, to attend meetings, training purposes,
building inspections or equipment
installation. Multiple entry visas will not
normally be issued under this service, but will be considered if
there is a valid reason, e.g. applicant has onward travel to New
Zealand and will be returning to China via Australia. Other
restrictions and penalties will also apply.
NEW ZEALAND
Single entry, Business Visitor Visas (up to one
month) are offered under this service for purposes such
as: official visits, to attend meetings, training purposes, or
building inspections.
Costs
AustCham Shanghai charges a 150RMB
administrative/handling fee for the first application. Additional
applications made at the same time will each be
charged a 80RMB administrative/handling fee. For
example, the cost of three applications made at the same time would
be 150RMB + 80RMB + 80RMB = 310RMB in total.
How do I apply?
AustCham Shanghai members will be invited to submit an
application to join. All applications will be submitted to the

the Visa Office.

Members must complete a covering sheet for delivery to the
AustCham Shanghai Secretariat together with a sealed envelope
containing the Visa Application(s), Passports for the Applicant(s)
and the necessary Visa Application(s) Fee(s) payable to the Visa
