Construction & Property Industry Working Group (CPIWG)


History

The CPIWG was established in mid 2004.

CPIWG Objectives

  • To assist in generating business between AustCham Shanghai corporate member businesses.
  • To raise the profile of the group's participants and strengthen the presence of Australian businesses in the Chinese construction and property market.
  • To assist members of the group to introduce their services and capabilities to the Chinese construction and property markets.
  • To assist members of the group to understand the nature of the Chinese construction and property markets and where relevant opportunities lie.
  • To share information regarding industry issues and developments in the regulation of the Chinese construction and property industries.
  • To facilitate co-operation with other foreign chambers of commerce and foreign businesses operating in China in relation to construction and property industry issues.
  • To present the views of Australian businesses operating in the Chinese construction and property industries to government authorities and other business groups where appropriate.
