
As a non-profit organisation, AustCham Shanghai
supports and oversees effective community outreach
activities in the People’s Republic of China and
acts as trustee for contributions made specifically
to community outreach projects. AustCham Shanghai
raises funds through its annual Great Australian
Ball, Friday night Aussie Drinks and other key
events.
In 2009, AustCham Shanghai donated over 1 million
RMB to selected Community Outreach projects. Click

Expressions
of Interest are now open for Community Outreach
projects in 2010/11 which focus on:
* Education
* Elderly
* Disabled
* Migrant communities
* Low income families
* Environment
AustCham
Shanghai is seeking Community Outreach projects
in various sizes:
* Large project (1 each year) – RMB200,000
* Medium project (3-4 each year) – RMB25,000
* Small project (1-2 each year) – RMB8,000
Expression
of Interest Proposals
Proposals will be accepted on an annual basis
and must be submitted with the below details:
* Introduction on your organization
* Contact details including name, telephone number,
email address
* Project that you would like AustCham Shanghai
to support (photos are required)
* Region where the project is based
* Budget of the project, timeline & reporting
* Project control for effective use of donated
funds
* Relationship with local charity organisations
and Chinese government
* Other partners you are currently working with
* How the AustCham Shanghai donation would fit
into your broader program
* Opportunities for member companies to get involved
through volunteering & in kind donation
Criteria the Board of Directors considers include:
* AustCham Shanghai supports organisations with
which it can form close ties and ongoing relationships
* The project must have positive sustainable impact
with funds or support going directly to the project
recipients
* Preference is given to local projects that benefit
communities in Shanghai, surrounding areas and
Yangtze Delta River Region
* The organisation must have transparent use of
funds, accountable & able to issue or facilitate
charitable receipts preferable and reports on
a regular basis

* 大规模项目(每年1项)——人民币二十万元
* 中等规模项目(每年3至4项)——人民币二万五千元
* 小规模项目(每年1至2项)——人民币八千元

* 组织介绍

* 您提议澳大利亚商会-上海支持的项目(需要相关照片)
* 项目所在地区
* 项目预算、时间表和报告安排
* 如何有效使用项目捐赠资金
* 与慈善组织、政府之间的关系
* 目前合作的其他组织、公司
* 澳大利亚商会-上海的捐赠项目与您的组织目标相符程度
* 澳大利亚商会-上海的会员公司是否能参与此项目,如志愿者活动,或物资捐赠
澳大利亚商会-上海理事会审核项目的标准包括但不限于以下几点:
* 澳大利亚商会-上海支持能够与之建立并保持紧密联系的组织
* 项目所涉及捐赠款项必须有积极的、可持续的影响,必须保证此款项直接用于受助群体
* 澳大利亚商会-上海倾向于支持能够使上海当地、周边或长江三角洲地区群体受益的项目
* 组织必须对捐赠款项的使用保持高度透明,尽可能提供慈善专用收据,并且定期提供项目报告
