St James’s Place Charitable Foundation Supports Art for Hearts Charity Event
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation in China sponsored a two day Art for Hearts event in Shanghai on May 9th and 10th with over 200 attendees from the community. All artwork was donated by local and international artists alongside school children and over 170,000 RMB was raised for Heart to Heart Shanghai (a 100% volunteer organisation).
These funds were double matched by St. James's Place, meaning the event raised over 340,000 RMB (over $70,000 AUD) in total. To put this in perspective, this means the event was able to fund corrective heart surgery on 11 children in China whose parents wouldn’t have otherwise been able to support it.
