RDL Asia- Pacific L&E Law Forum

RDL Forum

With the significant adjustment and change of global economy, China's economy steps into the "new normal" phase. The strategy of "Belt and Road" is not only an important engine to Chinese economic transformation and development in the new period, but also an important opportunity for Chinese enterprises for "Going Global". However, by going global, the enterprises not only have great opportunities and markets, but also have to face unknown political and economic environment as well as uncontrollable operation and management risk. Particularly, with the increasing scale and number of Chinese enterprises going abroad, related failure cases constantly arise. How to identify and control the risk effectively becomes a very important question for every Chinese enterprise before and after their going out. Among all the risks of going global, overseas employment risk is surely one of the most important aspect.

In this context, RDL plans and holds the Asia-Pacific Labor &Employment Law Forum. We invite outstanding lawyers from nine jurisdictions (the United States of American, Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Taiwan) to discuss questions about Overseas Employment Compliance Management and Risk Control for Chinese enterprises, and to offer solutions.

All the participants are chosen carefully by River Delta Law Firm and are all highly capable lawyers equipped with expert knowledge of local laws as well as extensive and practical experience on human resources legal management. Based on their sharing, attendees will be able to tackle the most relevant Labor & Employment Law challenges, avoid common pitfalls and successfully manage their business in the USA and APAC region.

The Forum will be mostly English with simultaneous translation to Chinese.
