Event Recap: HQ Expectations vs Chinese Reality
On Wednesday 22 February AustCham Shanghai's SME Committee invited Matthew McKenzie, co-Founder of The Export Group, for the first SME event of 2017.
Involved in the development of a number of iconic Australian food brands in China over the past 15 years, Matthew shared his experience about dealing with foreign heaquarters expectations and how to ensure that they fully understand the Chinese market.
The audience was very engaged throughout the session and questions were raised about a variety of topics ranging from timing, budget planning and trade regulations.
