Roundtable Discussion with AustCham Shanghai Financial Service Members
Earlier this month, AustCham Shanghai held a roundtable discussion with its financial service members in banking, tax, accounting and investment.
Despite a disruptive year, it was good to hear that members are near to fully resuming their operations in China. Capacity to fully work remotely, however, will be hard to achieve given the strict regulatory and security requirements involved in the sector. For those working with foreign businesses trying to set up in market, it remains a longer road with COVID-19 slowing down registration processes and smaller businesses disproportionately affected with their long term China plans.
