40 under 40: Most Influential Asian-Australian Awards
The “40 Under 40: Most Influential Asian-Australian Awards” will recognise the achievements of young Asian-Australian leaders in their fields. The Awards are designed to celebrate the achievements of the next generation of Asian-Australians, making them more visible in the wider community and to provide a stepping stone to further leadership opportunities.
Whether involved in community work, the arts sector, the professions or business, we want to hear about those young leaders driving impact in their communities and making a contribution to a truly diverse, Asia-engaged Australia.
The Awards will be presented at a dinner for the AALS on Thursday 12 September at the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne, with a keynote speech from Adam Liaw, Celebrity Chef, Winner of Masterchef 2010, writer and television presenter.
The Awards will be decided by a panel of judges and coordinated by leading executive search firm, Johnson, curated to ensure representation across these sectors. There will be five finalists and one winner per category.

To be eligible for the Awards, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident born after 1 November 1979 domiciled in Australia or abroad with a cultural background in Asia. Applications must be made online and will include a CV, a brief biography, your contribution to driving Australia’s engagement with Asia and referee contact details.
Applications close on Wednesday 7 August at 5pm AEST.
