achievements.
Thank you sincerely for your contributions to our AustCham Shanghai

Chef David Laris
delves into modern Shanghainese cuisine
|
 |
Prolific Australian chef David Laris has opened a new Chinese
restaurant concept 'Le Sheng' on Anfu Road in the heart of the
former French Concession.
Mr Laris said the boutique restaurant offers modern Shanghainese
cuisine in an intimate, upscale dining experience.
"As a western Chef who has been in China for almost 10 years, I
wanted to merge my experience overseas with what I have learned
here, to create a Chinese concept for the first time," he
said.
"I work with a very talented, local Chinese Chef named Fang Chao.
He develops all of the dishes and flavours, as we wanted to ensure
the authenticity of the food and the experience. I work with him on
the plating, styling and presentation. Together we're really
looking to bring guests traditional Shanghainese food that they can
enjoy in a warm and well-designed environment. This is what Le
Sheng is really about."
