AustCham Shanghai Appoints
New Board Director
|

 |
David Rosenthal has been
appointed as a Board Director for the AustCham Shanghai Board of
Directors, replacing Darren Lewis from Sai Cheng Logistics. David
is the Associate Director, Corporate & Institutional
Relationships of
ANZ China.
David has been working with ANZ in Shanghai for one and a half
years and with ANZ in Sydney for five years. His interests include
studying Mandarin, sport and travelling. David is a member of the
Bashers Cricket Club in Shanghai, and is the Club's Treasurer for
2010. David has a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University
of New South Wales. His role at ANZ provides his insight into the
challenges and priorities of Australian companies in China, and is
proud to have the opportunity to represent the AustCham Shanghai
Board.

GABXV CSR Project

On Wednesday 1 December 2010, a donation ceremony was held in
Pudong Yucai School by Giving Tree with 1,252
migrant students attendance. AustCham Shanghai donated RMB187,800
from GABXV fundraising income to provide them the opportunity to
receive Chinese New Year gifts which otherwise their families will
not be able to afford.
Each student received a bag from AustCham Shanghai
representative and Giving Tree volunteers. The children were
delighted opening their bags and seeing the new clothes, shoes,
& school supplies. Click
