Career Summary
Sam's passion for traveling the globe has seen her spend the last
11 years within the Travel and Tourism industry. Mainly within the
Wholesale division of the industry working for companies such as
Contiki, Cathay Pacific, Creative Holidays and Virgin Blue. Sam has
done everything from Tour guiding travel agents around the Pacific
Islands, Sales Executive and Reservations Manager to Training
coordinator.
Prior to Sam's arrival to Shanghai her previous place of
employment was with Carlson Marketing Group helping implement the
new Virgin Blue Loyalty program. Sam worked closely with the
Virgin Blue Management team to create a successful loyalty program
that was awarded number 1 loyalty program within Australian
domestic airlines within its first year of operation.
Sam has been with the Chamber since January 2008 and is focusing
on improving her Mandarin whilst here in China.
Personal
Sam's hometown is Sydney, Australia where her family resides.
Sam enjoys traveling and learning new languages and would like to
see every corner of the earth possible.
She enjoys meeting new people and has a passion for food, reading
and the beach.
