Our Structure
AustCham Shanghai is led by an active, voluntary, annually
elected Board of Directors and managed by a team at the
Secretariat.
The Secretariat
The full time AustCham Shanghai Secretariat supports and
manages the work of AustCham Shanghai, actively coordinating
liaison, networking and communication amongst members and contacts
in the East China region and facilitating wider business,
government and community contacts on behalf of members regionally
and internationally.

The Board of Directors
The Directors of the Board are
elected annually by AustCham Shanghai members and actively
represents their diversity, excellence and strengths. All members
of the Board of Directors are voluntary and part-time with the
exception of the Executive Director.
Members of the Board of Directors come from a wide range of
corporate backgrounds and bring with them strong professional
skills and in-depth experience of successful, commercially
profitable China businesses.
Each corporate member nominates a representative nominee with
voting rights, exercisable at the annual general meeting. During
this meeting, the members elect the Board and vote on other chamber
business. The Board of Directors then meet on a monthly basis to
conduct general chamber business.
