Qualifications

Dalwyn has a diploma in Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). 

Career Summary

Dalwyn worked as a designer and textile sourcer in Melbourne for six years before owning an award-winning cafe in South Yarra, Melbourne. 

She then worked for leading bridal designer Linda Gorringe, where she was responsible for all marketing activities including promotion, advertising, celebrity endorsement, and event management. Dalwyn also oversaw LGC's entries into award ceremonies helping the company win a total of nine awards as well as being successful, under her own name, at the 2003 Spring Racing Carnival's Gown of the Year competition. 

Dalwyn's previous work bought her regularly into contact with the Chinese market and she always harboured a desire to visit China. Now in her Marketing & Membership Manager role at AustCham Shanghai she has embraced the role of helping to foster Australian business relationships in Shanghai.
